Installation
BATSEAL TUBELESS TYRE SEALANT
The installation of BATSEAL is very similar to other commonly used latex based tyre sealants
- Always hold bottle upside down & shake thoroughly before each use.
- Holding bottle upside down, pour sealant into tyre.
- Use 50-100ml for mtb tyres & 20-30ml for road tubes.
- For tubeless tyres, first fit the tyre to the rim, then pour directly into tyre.
- For shraeder tubes, remove the valve core and for presta valve tubes, loosen the valve & inject using a 10mm plastic pvc tube.
- Re-inflate the tyre & rotate to seal all punctures.
- Always wear protective eyewear when fitting and inflating tyres, especially when using high pressure.
Handy Hints
- BATSEAL will work as long as there is adequate liquid sealant in the tyre.
- In hot, dry conditions, monitor sealant level frequently.
- For extreme or high usage, add more sealant for maximum effectiveness.
BATSEAL can also be used in quad bikes, golf carts, tractors, lawnmowers, motorbikes
BATSEAL TUBELESS CONVERSION KIT
The BAT Tubeless conversion kits convert standard rims to tubeless ready rims.
There are two separate kits one for 26″ tubeless conversions and one for 29″ tubeless conversions. The are quick and easy to fit.
The package contains the following;
2 x Tubeless Valves
2 x Tubeless Rim Strips
1 X Bottle BATSEAL
Instructions:
1. Remove the old rim tape from the rim and clean rim if necessary.
2. Insert rim tape into rim. Ensure that it is straight. It should be a tight fit. No tape is needed on the rim. The BAT rim strip can be placed directly onto the rim.
3. Trim the rubber foot of the valve to fit your rim.
4. Follow instructions found on the BATSEAL Bottle.
